Hi everyone! My name is Cherry and thank you for visiting!

I am from Houston, Tx and recently relocated to Dallas. I've been creating since I was in grade school and started my own business called Cherry Meekins Originals in 2008. I create different forms of art such as canvas paintings, odd shaped canvas, handcrafted jewelry and wearable art, hand painted lamps, and custom pieces.

I've worked with art galleries such Lori Betz Gallery and MOCAH. I've done volunteer art teaching with non-profits such as Down Syndrome Association and created art donated to raise money for breast cancer thru Pink Door Non-Profit.

​My goal is to provide an outlet where people can come to relax, unwind and do something they never thought they could do. I want to give people the opportunity to experience communicating their inner-self through art. The process of creating is where the beauty of art lives, and that process is what is therapuetic for many
